- THE NEW (killer) RECORD. In between the fantastic shows we played this summer we actually did some practicing. Or A LOT of it I should say… We have now finished 19 songs and we are really proud to announce that we are hitting the studio this weekend to put them on tape (or a hard drive or whatever they use these days, don't ask me...). In other words we are doing a NEW RECORD, following last years LP Divide and Conquer. This one is called Killer. It will be released by Combat Rock Industry and distributed in the US by the angels of Havoc Records. We'll record with William Blackmon (the brit from Gadget) in a church in central Gävle. It will be out sometime in January and we follow the tradition and will tour Finland after the record is out! Musically, nothing has really changed; the songs are still short and fast, no acoustic bullshit, just full on Hardcore the way we know it. Cover is being made by Ryan from Coliseum as I write this. We'll try and keep a studio report on our page if there is time in between takes and the vast amount of alcohol consumption. We will tour like never before next year so people, keep your eyes open for forthcoming tours, shows and the new album! The eurotour was the best ever except for the assholes that break into our van in Italy, fuck you! We have been saving up to buy beer, a brand new drum kit, 2 amps and a badass bass speaker to blow and we have also written some of our best songs ever. Dates and more info will be up here soon. 061214 - NEWS FROM A POWER TRIO What does VICTIMS got in common with bands as VENOM, CELTIC FROST, CREAM, ZZ TOP, HÜSKER DÜ and many more? Well, they we´re all a power trio & so are we.... Yes, it´s true. Andy, the bassplayer is no more in the band. The reasons for this are sort of say none of your business. Johan will from now on handle both the vocals & the bass. We got some awesome tours & shows scheduled for next year & we´re really excited to get back on the road again. Our new album is now recorded,mixed & mastered and will be called "Divide And Conquer". There is a few photos from the recording session here. We really want to say thanks to Stefan @ The Dustward for the recording session, Herman @ Gröndal for the mixing and to Gu from Disfear for lending out his drums & for the tuning help. Also thanks to Wallenberg (Skitsystem) and Tompa (Disfear) for the guestvocals. The album will contain 15 tracks will hopefully be out to our upcoming US tour that starts on the 24th of april. We have rehearsed & written songs like maniacs for a while now & I´m really happy to announce that we got 15 brand new songs right now and more to come it seems like. If everything is going as planned we will enter the studio in february and record a new album. When the recording is done & the record is out we will do another US tour. We had one accident after the second show in allentown. Jon was practicing some old fashioned backyard wrestling in Allentown when he suddenly broke his ankle really bad. He had to spend some nights in hospital for surgery and stuff. We did continue the tour with Jon on crutches & in a wheelchair. There is so many people we should thank for everything. But there are way way to many. So all great bands that we played with, everybody that fed us,gave us roof over or heads, come to the shows, bought us beer or just hang out with us. THANK YOU!!
