It is with a heavy heart that we write this. But after 25 years of Victims, the time has come to bring things to a close.
We’re not sure if this is truly the end, or if we’ll be back sometime again in the future. So for now, we’d like to call it an ”indefinite hiatus”.
We truly regret that this decision comes as a shock to some, and as short notice to those who have booked shows for us this coming year. There are of course, heartbreakingly, much graver concerns on the world stage right now, but we are still truly sorry that we will not be able to fullfill our present commitments. We apologise wholeheartedly to the promoters who have put great work in behind the scenes, and to those of you who were looking forward to seeing us play again.
Out of respect for privacy, we can only say that personal reasons external to the band dictate that we can not continue for now. The four of us are, and will always be, the best of friends. We have shared many wonderful memories travelling all over the world together and we’re forever thankful for all the support we’ve had as a band from far and wide. It’s been an incredible privilege.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
Love and peace,
Andy, Johan, Jon & Gareth.
